Yellow Ribbon protest at Coop decision to sell Oakfield Rec

About one hundred people attended the yellow ribbon protest on Oakfield Recreation ground today (Saturday, 15 November 2014). The Cooperative Group can be left in no doubt about what local residents think of their plans to sell the site off for development.
A long standing resident of Bloxham Gardens told us that she hoped the site would be kept for children to enjoy for generations to come.
