Signatures flood in (14 Jan)

14 Jan 2015

There has been a strong response to Cllr Bill Lewis's petition on the proposed development off Ashlawn Road and hundreds of people have now signed.

Concerns over traffic and the impact on Rugby's secondary schools top the list of concerns raised by residents on the doorstep. Of those spoken to 74% object to the scheme, 18% support David Wilson's proposals and 8% have no strong view one way or another.

Cllr Bill Lewis is collecting the signatures in his personal capacity as one of Rokeby and Overslade's ward councillors.
