Save Our Hospices

Our hospices have been pushed to the brink.
Hundreds of beds lie empty because there is not enough funding or staff. Services across the country have been pared back and 4 in 10 of hospices say they will have to make cuts this year.

Liberal Democrats have a plan to save our hospices:

• Ensuring funding always meets need - so that no one misses out on care just because charitable donations fall short.
• Guaranteeing ring-fenced funding for children’s hospices.
• Tackling staffing shortages through a dedicated hospice workforce plan.

By protecting and strengthening hospice services, we can ensure that everyone has the dignity, comfort and support they deserve at the end of life.
