Rugby’s Tories considering 7% rent rise plan (27 Dec)

On 5 January 2015 Rugby's leading tories will meet in cabinet and consider a plan to increase council house rents by 7% starting in April. Under the plan average rents would rise by £5.56 to £88.49 a week.

The Coalition Government has provided national guidance suggesting an annual rent rise of 2%.
