Paddox and Eastlands Lib Dems team up for litter pick

Local Councillors and campaigners from Paddox and Eastlands Liberal Democrats teamed up recently to do a litter pick of the GEC Recreation Ground on Hillmorton Road.

The area is well used by the community including many dog walkers and families whose children enjoy the play area.

Seven bags of rubbish were collected, which included an old pair of shorts!

Local Liberal Democrat Councillors have also recently raised the issue of upgrading changing room facilities for greater community use. We are very keen to ensure that everyone can make the best use of our outdoor spaces in a clean and safe way.
