Local School children in Eastlands call upon Council to improve play area

Whinfield Rec play area is one of the most popular local parks in the Eastlands area. Local Lib Dem Cllrs Neil Sandison and Sue Roodhouse know from conversations they have been having with residents that this play area is heavily used and it is now showing real signs of wear and tear.

The children of St Andrews Benn have written 60 letters with drawings about how they would like to see the area improved. Eastlands Ward Liberal Democrat Councillors Neil Sandison and Sue Roodhouse will now be presenting these to the Council.

Local Lib Dems will continue to press the Council to act and refurbish this valuable and well used area.

The Council needs to take account of the views expressed by local families and especially those of the children that use this play area.
