Councillors allowances to be published

On Monday Rugby Borough Council's conservative cabinet will receive a report on the amount of money each councillor received in allowances and expenses in 2014/15. According to the Council's report the three councillors receiving the highest amounts in allowances and expenses were:
Michael Stokes (Con, Admirals and Cawston) - £15,760
Derek Poole (Con, Wolston & the Lawfords) - £13,044
Leigh Hunt (Con, Clifton, Newton & Churchover) - £12,181
The total bill for allowances and expenses for all councillors came to £343,000.
