Thank you for your support in 2025 and Wishing all residents the best for 2026.

We are looking ahead with hope — but  we also have real concerns. The up and coming budget will see tough choices being made.

Too many parents are still struggling to make ends meet.
Too many children are starting the year without the support they need to thrive.
And too many decisions are being made without families at the centre.

 Liberal Democrats believe we can do better, if we don't prioritise we could see a lost generation.

A new year that starts with tackling child poverty, neglect, supporting families early, and investing in prevention rather than crisis.

In 2026, we will continue to stand up for:

• Children who deserve a fair start in life
• Parents who need support, not judgment
• Communities that want solutions, not excuses

Leadership means making choices — and we believe the most important choice is this:

To put children and families first.
