Anti-post office closure campaigner Cllr Glenda Allanach (Paddox) will join with newly elected MP Jeremy Wright on Tuesday when they will meet Peter Mylchreest who is the head of the Post Office's network change operation. The meeting will take place at 11.00 am at the Post Office's Coton House training centre on the outskirts of Rugby.

Cllr Glenda Allanach said "I am glad we have finally persuaded the Post Office to meet us face to face. I want to tell them about our fears for the loss of trained staff, the damage to Rugby's economy and the problems their proposals will cause for people with disabilities. I am delighted that Jeremy Wright will be joining me - the campaign to save Rugby Post Office has always been an all-party affair and I want to keep it that way".
